Well, I think Gwen merely employed that as a concept for her album. She didn't carry that over from "Love Angel Music Baby" into "The Sweet Escape". Where Nicki Minaj is concerned, I think she is just grabbing at straws. She's not an awful rapper. But, her image is not unlike the "L.A.M.B."-era Gwen with some Lil' Kim mixed in. I would be more likely to buy Gwen Stefani's music. But, I am not a stark-raving fan of Gwen, either.
I'll have to say Gwen Stefani because I've never heard of the other one!

ReplyDeleteit was gwen who released 'sweet escape ' in 2006 with the harajuku trend..and nicki relased an album or something in 2007...
