I usually don't have intense hatred for female artist because i respect there talent and how they're making it, but it's something that really makes me hate nicki minaj. I don't think it's jealousy because i see her as a regular woman who does wayyyy to much appearance wise to appeal to the public. but everytime i hear her lyrics i get pissed off and wonder what the **** is this ****?!!? then i look at her don't get me wrong she's an attractive girl to me, but she carries herself like a complete idiotic airhead slut. I just do not get the obsession. I know she's pretty (which half the girls would be if they did half as much as she does to herself) but why is she even a rap star? why is she even famous? i don't get it. Everyone i know loves her, yet i just don't get it. It creeps me the hell out even walking out in public because the younger highschool girls are trying to copy her style from head to toe, even grown women. I'm just confused........puzzled.... is this intense hatred for an "artist" that sucks normal? I try my hardest to like her because everyone else does, but i just can't get with it, i like some of the songs she's featured on, but nothing she has out of her own, If i don't get with it i'm considered a hater. Has anyone else experienced this? with this pass? and will she eventually another fad?

You've just read my mind ;] Everything you wrote, I agree. I'm 16 and all my friends totally love her and I'm like "Why?" Haha, at school all the girls were talking about her and just didn't know who it was. I thought it was a model or actress, so when my friend showed me on Google, I was shocked. You're not a hater, I feel the same way. I don't think her songs are that good, but it seems that everyone likes them and that's why I was shocked. I agree too, she really does look like a slut, she dresses raunchy and presents herself as a hoe. There are other singers I hate too. It's your life and no-one should tell you want you want to like. It's your style and your life- nobody elses. xxx
